Today I had my first ever facial by Jordan at Adagio For Hair. It was the most relaxing experience I've had in years! The room was so comfortable and clean, the lighting and music were soft and relaxing, and the bed was warm and cozy. Jordan is so sweet natured and always made sure to check in with me throughout the procedure. The products used for my facial smelled so good (not too perfumed) and because of the questions asked and the observation of my sensitive skin prior to my facial, I didn't experience any adverse reactions. As a hairstylist's niece I am always very hesitant to let anyone new do anything to my hair; but Hannah is the best! I called in and was able to be seen that same afternoon. Hannah took her time to show me options and was very fun and engaging to work with. She listened to me and checked in as I could see progress to ensure I was satisfied. Which I was!! Great people, atmosphere and prices. Will definitely be a keeping a regular appointment.

With this pesky COVID and the lock down on hair salons, what is a gal to do with her hair?!? Well my hair, like I'm sure everyone else, needed some TLC at least in a form of a haircut. My regular stylist wasn't open yet plus she was already booked out for several weeks. I found Courtney at Adagio Salon in El Dorado Hills, CA. The salon is located in El Dorado Town Center shopping center. She did a good job on my haircut. She is easy to talk with. To let you know, the receptionist books the appointments. Each stylist sets their own prices which seems to be the standard practice in this industry. Courtney's haircuts start at $62. She cut and thinned out my wild hair that hasn't been cut in over 6 months. I opted not to get it styled curled because I'll just be washing it again later that day. She did blowed dry styled my hair. My hair felt so much lighter with a bunch of natural movement. Wonderful! I enjoyed my time with her. It's been about a week since I saw her, my hair still looks polished and has soft natural movement. Luv it! Not an easy feat for my naturally thick, straight hair. Plus the salon is taking COVID precautions seriously... such as hanging thick acrylic partitions between salon chairs, hair washing sinks, and at the reception desk; all staff and customers are wearing face coverings at all times; temperature checks are conducted; and staff sanitize everything between customers. Bottles of hand sanitizer were scattered about for use. They request you come by yourself, no guests. Makes sense. Only one person at a time in the waiting room. The salon is modern and has a lot of bright natural light. Oh I almost forgot to tell you about the warm towel they place on the sink bowl, nice added touch of comfort when your hair is washed. The sink room however is a low lighted room with soft soothing music playing, no windows though
